Patrick Meehan (Republican – Pennsylvania) presented the House Concurrent Resolution 18 to the House on February 1, 2017. The bill was passed in the House on February 6, 2017 and was sent to the Senate. The Senate has not yet approved the resolution.

BILL SUMMARY

The Concurrent Resolution state that the rotunda of the Capitol is authorized to be used on April 25, 2017 for a ceremony as part of the commemoration of the days of remembrance of victims of the Holocaust. Physical preparations for the ceremony will be carried out while adhering to any conditions set by the Architect of the Capital.
