  1. H.R. 72 The GAO Access and Oversight Act of 2017 was signed by the President and became Public Law No. 115-3 on January 31, 2017. a detailed summary of the bill is here: H.R. 72.

  1. H. J. Res 41 – Providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of a rule submitted by the Securities and Exchange Commission relating to “Disclosure of Payments by Resource Extraction Issuers.” This joint resolution nullifies the “Disclosure of Payments by Resource Extraction Issuers,” rule. This rule was mandated under the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. The Rule requires resource extraction issuers (typically commercial oil, gas, and mining companies) to disclose payments made to governments for the commercial development of oil, natural gas, or minerals. *SUMMARY COMING SOON*
  2. H.J. Re. 38 – Disapproving the rule submitted by the Department of the Interior known as the Stream Protection Rule. This joint resolution nullifies the Stream Protection Rule finalized by the Department of the Interior’s Office of Surface Mining and Reclamation and Enforcement on December 20, 2016. The rule addresses the impacts of surface mining operations on surface water, groundwater, and the productivity of mining operation sites. *SUMMARY COMING SOON*

This bill pertains to the display of the United States flag.

  1. S. 305 –  A bill to amend title 4, United States Code, to encourage the display of the flag of the United States on National Vietnam War Veterans Day. No other text was available in relation to this bill.

These bills all pertain to homeland security.

  1. H.R. 697 – Department of Homeland Security Clearance Management and Administration Act.   2. H.R. 690 – Gain in Global Nuclear Detection Architecture Act. This bill is to amend the Homeland Security Act of 2002 to enhance certain duties of the Domestic Nuclear Detection Office and for other purposes. *SUMMARY COMING SOON*
  3. H.R. 687 First Responder Access to Innovative Technologies Act. This bill is to Amend the Homeland Security Act of 2002 to establish a process to review applications for certain grants to purchase equipment or systems that do not meet or exceed any applicable national voluntary consensus standards, and for other purposes. *SUMMARY COMING SOON*
  4. H.R. 678 – Department of Homeland Security Support to Fusion Centers Act of 2017. This bill is to require an assessment of fusion center personnel needs, and for other purposes.  Fusion centers operate as state and urban area focal points for threat-related information operations and collaboration between state, local, tribal, territorial and private sector partners. *SUMMARY COMING SOON*
  5. H.R. 677 – CBRN Intelligence and Information Sharing Act of 2017. This bill is to amend the Homeland Security Act of 2002 to establish chemical, biological, radiological , and nuclear intelligence and information sharing functions of the Office of Intelligence and Analysis of the Department of Homeland Security and to require sharing of information analyzed by the Department to those with responsibilities relating to homeland security, and for other purposes. *SUMMARY COMING SOON*
  6. H.R. 666 – Department of Homeland Security Insider Threat and Mitigation Act of 2017. This bill is to mend the Homeland Security At of 2002 to establish the Insider Threat Program, and for other purposes. *SUMMARY COMING SOON*
  7. H.R. 665 – Airport Perimeter and Access Control Security Act of 2017. This bill is to modernize and enhance airport perimeter and access control security by requiring updated risk assessments and the development of security strategies, and for other purposes. *SUMMARY COMING SOON*
  8. H.R. 655 – Securing the Cities Act of 2017. This bill is to establish the Securing the Cities program to enhance the ability of the United States to detect and prevent terrorist attacks and other high consequence events utilizing nuclear or other radiological materials that pose a high risk to homeland security in high-risk urban areas, and for other purposes.*SUMMARY COMING SOON*
  9. H.R. 642 – Fusion Center Enhancement Act of 2017. This bill is to amend the Homeland Security Act of 2002 to enhance the partnership between the Department of Homeland Security and the National Network of Fusion Centers, and for other purposes. *SUMMARY COMING SOON*
  10. H.R. 612 – United States-Israel Cybersecurity Cooperation Enhancement Act of 2017. The bill requires the Department of Homeland Security to establish a grant program to support cybersecurity research and development, and the demonstration and commercialization of cybersecurity technology in accordance with the Agreement between the Government of the United States of America and the Government of the State of Israel on Cooperation in Science and Technology for Homeland Security Matters, dated May 29, 2008. *SUMMARY COMING SOON*
